MTÜ Montessori Kiili vallas

In Kiili, Estonia, a growing community of families and educators is coming together around a shared vision: to bring equitable, high-quality Montessori education to children who currently have little to no access. What began as grassroots parent gatherings and teacher workshops has laid the foundation for something far more powerful—an authentic Montessori classroom within a municipal kindergarten.

A micro-grant from MGGF represents a pivotal turning point. By funding the training of a local educator through the AMI 3–6 Diploma, this support removes the financial barrier that has long prevented qualified candidates from accessing world-class Montessori preparation. In doing so, it doesn’t just fund one teacher—it plants the seed for a sustainable, community-rooted program that will serve children and families for years to come.

The impact is both immediate and enduring. A trained guide will bring a child-centered, developmentally grounded approach into a public setting, expanding access to families regardless of income. Over time, this single investment will ripple outward—fostering independence, confidence, and emotional resilience in children, while inspiring broader integration of Montessori principles across the region.

This is the power of a micro-grant: a modest investment with transformational reach—unlocking opportunity, strengthening communities, and shaping the future, one child at a time.
