Fundación Argentina María Montessori (FAMM)

In Argentina, the AMI Montessori 3–6 Diploma Course at Fundación Argentina María Montessori (FAMM) stands as a quiet force for transformation. As the country’s only internationally accredited Montessori training, it prepares adults to guide children during the most formative years of life—ages when dignity, empathy, and resilience take root. For nearly two decades, FAMM has multiplied this impact, helping grow Montessori from a single preschool into a national movement reaching thousands of children, many in communities facing deep poverty and exclusion.

Today, six women embody the heart of this mission. Already serving children in vulnerable neighborhoods, they are assistants and teachers who have chosen education as an act of hope. Yet the cost of the AMI diploma puts full certification out of reach. Funding for tuition is the bridge between their commitment and their potential. With support from MGGF, these women will complete authentic, quality training and return as certified Montessori guides, strengthening community projects and ensuring stability, quality, and continuity for the children they serve.

This grant is not only an investment in six educators; it is an investment in hundreds of young lives. Children will learn in calm, nurturing classrooms led by fully prepared adults who see them, respect them, and believe in their capacity to grow. Families will gain access to education that fosters autonomy, empathy, and resilience. Communities will gain leaders rooted in local reality and equipped to multiply impact for years to come.
