Hill View Montessori Charter Public School in Haverhill, Massachusetts, is one of only three public Montessori schools in the state and one of just two serving a highly diverse population. With 55% of students from global majority backgrounds and more than half qualifying for free or reduced lunch, the school reflects the richness—and the challenges—of its community.

Under new leadership deeply rooted in Montessori philosophy, the school is committed to restoring high-fidelity practice and ensuring every child experiences the education they deserve. A grant from MGGF will allow Hill View Montessori to partner with the Montessori Training Center Northeast to provide rigorous professional development and create a sustainable pipeline for diverse, justice-minded Montessori educators. With our support, teachers will gain the expertise and mentorship they need to deliver authentic Montessori practice—igniting curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning in every child.
