Update to the Joen Bettmann Primary Training of Trainers Fund

December 2020 - This fund was established on May 1, 2020, the day Joen Bettmann passed away from cancer.  It was her fervent desire that the funds she raised by selling her Montessori materials would be used to start an investment in the future of Montessori training. Her gift would launch a fund to be used to underwrite the costs associated with the apprenticeship year of a primary trainer in training.

Her husband, Art Krasilovsky worked with us at Montessori Global Growth Fund to establish this fund.  Through his efforts, the generous gifts of Joen’s family and friends, Joen’s past students and other trainers, the fund has grown by almost 50 percent this year from her initial donation.  Thank you to all who have supported Joen’s last dream.

Joen would be pleased that her dream has inaugurated a fund that will encourage and support trainers in training. Here’s Art’s story about Joen and her devotion to Montessori training.

In order to begin supporting trainers, the Joen Bettmann Primary Training of Trainers Fund needs to continue to grow at or greater than the rate it has grown thus far.  You can support its growth through a tax deductible donation of any size.  You also can make your gift a recurring one.  Either way, visit the Joen Bettmann Fund Donate Page . Thank you.
